crab

I bought some crab today from the Whitby fish van man today in Guisborough.

It cost £3 and came in a small bag which contained the top shell of a crab (or an imitation of one) and what looked like diced crab meat inside. It also had a claw in there too.

Now, I've never had crab so I'll just describe this one and assume all crab is the same :)

On opening the bag I was met with a strong fishy smell.
The meat it's self was a little rubbery and kind of tasted a bit like but not exactly like prawn and sardines to me.

It's not exactly to my taste and though I could eat it I'd have to be pretty hungry.

I recommend trying it though if you never have because you never know what you might like until you try it. Who knows what flavours you are missing out on.
... Now I need to try lobster
