A little cafe has just opened around the corner from me.
It's set back in the village shops in Nunthorpe.
It is called the ye old cafe which would usually put me off straight away but I thought 'why not give it a go' after all it could be good.
I got talking to the woman inside and she seemed very nice. she sells cakes which she makes her self.
Frankly anyone who makes butter icing is a winner in my opinion.
From the outside, it looks a bit drab but the inside is very colourful and... quaint, but in a good way.
It's sort of what I imagine most cafes are trying to look like only this one succeeds

I've been in a couple of teas now. The place also does some light snacks and serves Yorkshire tea. nice : -)
