Black Cat - ale

Drink makes                      Drink name                            Drink type                  Drink strength
Moorhouse's                      Black Cat                               Dark Ruby Ale           3.4%

From this bottle I can only deduce that black cats and possible witchcraft is used in the crafting of this drink... of that it's a dark ale. You know, what ever.

I've now given this drink a sniff and I, erm... can't really smell anything! Is the bottle empty? no. I there nothing but water in it? No, unless its extremely dark water because this stuff is dark!

The taste is a chocolaty molt and has a faint bitter  almost metallic aftertaste which is not unpleasant. This is practically a stout in flavour but but as full bodied.
I'm trying to get a picture to show it's colouration but the liquid is just eating up the light! Truly there is some sort of evil at work here. Tasty tasty evil.

This is good but really not what I was expecting.
This is the second beverage I've had from this brewery in Lancashire and and the two could not be more different. I look forward to trying their other ales.

There. Nice, inaccurate and unhelpful.
