Banana Wells Ale 5.2%
bread beer
This amber brown Beer is as pleasing to the eye as it is to
the taste buds… That is if you like bananas and beer and if you don’t… who
cares! I certainly don’t care. I love
both these things, ether together or on their own. I wish I had a banana so I
could attach a banana to the side of my glass just to increase my banana pleasure!
The Illustrations on the bottle labels are brown like the
beer and oxidised BANANAS!
There is even the image of a pint coming out of a banana
skin just in case you’re not good friends with literacy … like me OR too drunk to see the word BANANA all over the bottle.
The smell is a sweet beernana smell A bit like toffee pored
over slightly browned bananas and thankfully not like that of a school bag that
you forgot you left a banana in 3 days ago when you went on that school trip
(like you’re going to eat a banana on a school trip… that’s not cool) and which
has then gone all wrong and begun having an inappropriate relationship with
your French homework.
If I had to come up with one word that summed up the taste
of this drink I’d have to say BANANALISHUS because it is!
The flavour is of banana, malt and hops. Both sweet and with
a slight hint of bitterness in the aftertaste sealed in a 500lm bottle.
All in all a nice and
refreshing beer... If you like Bananas
